Students Internships Guide
Internships are the combination of classroom and on-the-job work experience. Internships provide students with practical knowledge of professional environments within their majors’. Internships are a great to gain work experience required by employers in a competitive job market and to stand out to potential employers and to start building a professional network. Current students should stop by the CDC or schedule an appointment with a career counselor to learn about the internship process. The Career Development Center assists students in researching and applying for internships, however students must contact career counselors to discuss the specific major requirements and to obtain any required forms before applying for internships.
