What is the Career Advice Network?
Because everyone knows the importance and value in networking; that is why the Career Development Center (CDC) has created the Career Advisor Network (iCAN).
(iCAN) is designed to ease the transition from college to career. The Career Advisor Network is a database platform made up of professionals, Employers, alumni, academics, and parents who are willing and eager to share their experiences. (iCAN) is where you can take an advice or give an advice, it facilitates career conversations, career planning, work skills post graduate studies, resume reviews, and mock interviews among AASTMT faculty, professionals, employers, alumni, students, parents, and friends. And help you further your career beyond your time here at AASTMT.
(iCAN) helps students and alumni find the expertise they need to fulfill their professional goals, including getting insight into specific industries, job functions, and graduate programs.

Why the Career Advice Network?
At a Career Fair, there are hundreds of students trying to talk to a limited number of representatives from different companies. On (iCAN), hundreds of these representatives, professionals, alumni, academics, and Companies are represented (from different industries), and want to have a conversation with you and are eager to give advice, share their experiences, guide you, and answer all your questions.
Career Advice Network (iCAN) is providing numerous types of mentorships and consultations related to Career Conversations, work environment, Resume/CV Critique, and Mock Interviews. offer in depth insight and insider perspectives on various industries that you may be interested in.
Users can register as advisors (Be a Mentor), advisees (Be a Mentee), or both.
